2020- Quite a challenging year. We were still able to compete in Denver, Rapid City, and Gillette.



















2019 Our Competition Company had a wonderful season! This season we competed in Denver at Jump, KAR  and Spotlight in Gillette WY, and back to Denver.
 
 
 





















 
2018 In March the team traveled to Norfolk, Nebraska for “Leap National Dance Competition”   where TDA was awarded the “ 2018 ADCC Studio Of Excellence Award”. On behalf of the Association of Dance competitions and conventions, the award is presented to a “studio that takes on the challenge of offering their students the opportunity to experience and excel in all area of dance”. A top choreography award went to Danielle Fitzke” for “Love is Stronger Than Blood”.  Winning overall high point production was “Life Can Be Like the Movies” featuring our entire team, choreography by Tiffany Tabor Mackrill.

Early in April the dancers returned to Denver, Co. for “Adrenaline Competition and Workshop”. Here TDA earned the “Diversity Award” for the variety of styles presented. Scholarships were awarded many of our students and the top junior scholarship “Elite Crew Member” was given to Caleb Olenick.
 




2017 We took 14 entries, and the kids brought home 11 Golds, 1 High Silver, and 2 High Gold awards. Mr Adam Polk placed 5th overall in the Teen Solo Division! And the tap trio: Emily Ostdiek, Sydney Hinze, and Sydney Petitt placed 3rd overall in the Teen Duo Trio Division!
Also, 8 students came home with specialty class scholarships! Congratulations to Emily Ostdiek, Adam Polk, Sydney Petitt, and Kyra Iles for their award in Tap, and Caleb Olenick, Charlotte Olenick, Zavanah Chavez, and Elia Ybarra for their awards in Hip Hop. Your hard work and dedication is amazing! A special thanks to Mr Kyle Van Newkirk for your wonderful tap choreography! 

2016 We competed in Gillette, WY April 8th-10th, 2016.

 Friend Like Me won Diamond, 1st in Category, and Costume Award. Getting Better duet -Maddie Kovarik and Emersen Hilyard- Ruby, and a Sweet Connection award. The Jazz Beat - Ruby. Beautiful City trio- Emily Tarr, Alexis Kersenbrock, and Jensen Bedlan-Ruby, 1st in category, Technical Skills award, and 9th Overall. There were over 100 teen solos! Olivia Hilyard - Ruby, 1st in category, Sydney Petitt- Diamond, Sydney Hinze - Diamond, 1st in category, Judges Choice award for Awesome Awareness, and 7th overall. Serena Carabajal - Diamond, 1st in category, & 3rd overall. In Seniors Emily Ostdiek - Diamond, 1st in category, and placed 4th overall. Courtney Wills -Diamond, 10th overall & a special judges All Star Award! Our studio won the coveted Sportsmanship Award for the 2nd yr in a row! Thank you for representing your studio with elegence and grace. We couldn't be more proud of you! Our group number Alls Well that Ends Well- Ruby, Boss -Diamond, placed 2nd overall, and an All Star Award. Humming One of Your Songs-Diamond, placed 3rd overall, and received the Cut Above award. And the duet Call Me Home- Courtney Wills and Emily Ostdiek- Diamond, a judges choice award for Connection Perfection, and won 1st place overall out of all senior Duo/Trios! Thank you to all our parents and families of our competition team for sharing this incredible experience with us. Your help and positive attitudes made this weekend so successful.
