Action Dance Express: Pre School Age 3-5, Creative movement skills, problem solving, spatial awareness, gross motor skills. Following directions, and working with others are emphasized with TLC and silliness. Dancers age 5 not enrolled in Kindergarten should enroll in this class.
Combination Classes: Beginning Combo, 2nd Year Combo, and Strictly 7 Age 5-7 Kindergarten and older - An extension of the above description with advanced dance fundamentals, and body alignment. It includes an intro to ballet, jazz, tap rhythms, coordination and memorization skills.
Primary Acro Ages 5-7 - A 45 Min Prerequisite to Acro Dance (See Description) Must be taken in conjunction with a combo class.
Friday Hip Hop - Open to ages 6-7 - Must also be enrolled in a combo class
All Levels 1 to Elite - Ages 8 and up
Ballet: Ballet is the basis of all dancing. It requires concentration and repetitive study, and demands a high level of self discipline. Poise, grace, and incredible physicality are accomplished through formal ballet training. This class is a must for dance appreciation and higher level advancement.
Pointe: minimum of 3 yrs ballet training, min. Age of 11-12 with permission of instructor. Must have completed Ballet 3/4.
Jazz: Traditional sassy jazz, lyrical, and musical theatre styles are taught in high energy rhythmic classes. Jazz utilizes ballet but breaks away with its own vocabulary and physical demands.
Hip Hop: Hip hop is a movement based class where you can slide and glide or pop and lock. It does not fit any mold and it's the performance and social dance of our age. It can light a fire with new dancers and connects with the young soul.
Tap: Born in America, it's the most sophisticated form of dance. Tap creates a high level of musicality and listening skills. Focused on character and rhythm tap, it's a traditional favorite.
Contemporary Modern dance meets jazz - A fusion for today's passionate, and artistic expression. Must have at least one year of ballet and currently enrolled in ballet.
Acro Dance A style of dance that blends classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It's a fusion of dance and tumbling/ acrobatic arts. Must also be enrolled in a technique class (Ballet or Jazz).
Stretch and Strengthen is designed to improve your flexibility, range of motion, prevent injury, and strengthen your overall physical health. At teachers' discretion, determined by dancers age and ability.
