Tabor Dance Academy

Annual Registration Fee : A one time $20 registration fee is required and added to the first month's tuition. Two or more siblings living in the same household are charged $30.

 

Tuition Policy ** Tuition is paid in advance no exceptions. You will pay first month and registration fee in August. Next payment is due by September 10th. You will continue to pay each month in advance through April. December will be 1/2 your normal tuition. (Not November) Your final payment will be paid in April, with classes continuing through May. You may also pay by semester, yearly, etc. Tuition is a flat rate per month regardless of how many lessons given or received. Tuition must be paid by the 10th of the month. A $15.00 late fee will be added if we mail/email you a statement. Return check fee is $25.

-If enrolling after August, two months tuition will be due (the current month, and one month in advance)

 

-If you withdraw from a class, you must present a note in writing to the desk by the 1st of the month. Refunds will only be given for the following month. A $10 processing fee will be deducted from your refund. No phone calls will be accepted for class withdrawal. 

 

-Credits will be given if determined appropriate by TDA staff. Makeup classes are given and encouraged when appropriate. Please call for arrangements.

 

We accept cash, checks, and debit/ credit cards with a 2% convenience fee added. You can make online payments, and sign up for Autopay in your Parent Portal online account.

Each additional class add $35.00 per month

Company/Competition Class rate - $60 a month
in addition to your regular class tuition.
 

December Rate: Pay only 1/2 months tuition, excluding Company/Competition class fee.    

                     

Family Discount : Family rate applies to two or more siblings living in the same household. The 2nd child receives the 2nd class rate and so on.

Parent Watch Days : Parents can watch class on designated watch days. 
See your Dance Calendar for dates--Will be handed out in class, and posted online.

 

TDA closes for major holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter breaks are taken.   Snow days are rare - a text message will be sent in the event of closure. Or call the studio for message. 308-632-2454

Please follow these rules to help create a professional and safe atmosphere conducive to learning and safety.
 

• No gum

 

• Please leave all valuables at home-no large earrings or jewelry in class

 

• Please have clean hands, faces, feet, clothes and dance shoes at all time.

 

• Don’t wear under panties under tights. Tights are long underwear.

• All dancers must be potty trained. 

 

• Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class and pick up dancers no later than 10 minutes after class-if late please call 308-632-2454. Constant late arrival disturbs your dancer’s progress and is disruptive to the entire class. Please don’t bring guests to class unless prior arrangements have been made with the instructor.

 

• Parents of 3-7 year old dancers must come into studio to drop off and pick up their dancer. Drive carefully-the parking lot is dangerous, follow all one way signs and park only in front lot spaces and back parking lot- do not park next to building or in the alley Thank you.

 

• Class Placement: Placement is at the discretion of the TDA teachers. Placement is based on the individual dancer’s ability. Advancement depends on the student’s progress, not by whole class, age or how many years the student has danced.  Please feel free to discuss your dancer’s progress at any time. 

 

• Attendance: Your child can not learn if they are not in class. A willingness to learn, favorable attitude, respect and good attendance are key factors to success and advancement at our academy.  We respect your busy schedules and understand an occasional conflict. Please call the studio if you dancer will not be not be in class-308-632-2454.

 

• Proper Respect:  Respect for the instructors, staff, facility and fellow dancers is expected at all times.  The development of self-discipline and concentration is an integral part of our training program.  Disruptive students will be asked to leave the dance floor.
